Industrial production in the Eurozone (20 countries using the euro) continued to decline in May.
According to Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union (EU), industrial production in May decreased by 0.6% compared to the previous month.
Although this was better than the market forecast of -0.9%, it marked a second consecutive month of decline following -0.1% in April.
