20% Discount on Ready-to-Eat Samgyetang and Baeksuk Chicken
Lotte Mart announced on the 16th that it will hold an offline event for refreshing shopping in celebration of Jungbok.
First, Lotte Mart will hold a health food voting event until the 28th, giving away 10,000 Snow Plans through a lottery. During the event period, any customer who shops at Lotte Mart stores, scans the offline-only application ‘Lotte Mart GO,’ and completes payment can participate in the event. Then, by voting for the health food they think will give them the most energy among Samgyetang, Abalone Nutritional Rice, and Grilled Eel on the ‘Lotte Mart GO’ event page, their entry will be completed.
Among customers who voted for the product with the highest vote rate, 30 winners will be selected by lottery to receive 10,000 Snow Plans, and 70 winners will receive exchange vouchers for ‘Yorihada Ganghwa Island Samgyetang,’ which allows easy enjoyment of rich broth flavor. Winners will be notified on August 12 through the ‘Lotte Mart GO’ app. Snow Plan is a membership service that adds abundant partnership benefits to the existing Snow Points accumulation benefits.
Until the 25th, various health food discount events suitable for enjoying Jungbok will also be held. In line with the recent trend of convenient health foods gaining great popularity mainly among 1-2 person households, from the 18th to the 24th, two popular Samgyetang products from Yorihada will be sold at a maximum discount of 1,000 won for L.Point members. ‘Yorihada Susam Samgyetang (900g)’ and ‘Yorihada Ganghwa Island Samgyetang (1kg)’ will also be sold for 7,990 won.
From the 24th to the 26th, ‘CJ Bibigo Samgyetang (800g)’ will be sold at 8,082 won with a 1,000 won discount for L.Point members and an additional 10% discount when paying with event cards. ‘CJ Bibigo Nurungji Samgyetang (900g, refrigerated)’ and ‘Harim Samgyetang (800g, frozen)’ will be available at 9,882 won and 8,982 won respectively when paying with event cards.

Additionally, a seafood fair discount event in collaboration with the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and a half-price King Crab event will be held. ‘Wando Live Abalone (refrigerated, domestic)’ will receive a 20% discount from the seafood fair plus an additional 20% discount when paying with event cards. Special size 3 pieces are available for 8,928 won, and large size 5 pieces for 7,968 won. The ‘King Crab (100g, refrigerated, Russian origin)’ will be offered at half price, 5,950 won, with event card payment. ‘Price-Stabilized Hairtail (large, per fish, thawed, domestic)’ will be sold at a reasonable price of 3,000 won.
Finally, on the 22nd, 10 new types of dried snacks, popular as healthy foods, will be launched. Applying the concept of ‘Dried Snack Trainer,’ which suggests a healthy diet due to its high protein content, the new lineup targeting consumers in their 20s and 30s will include ‘Peanut Butter Flavored Squid,’ ‘Prepared Meoktae,’ and ‘Chicken Breast Jerky,’ among others.
Ko Juhyun, Commercial Planning Team Leader at Lotte Mart & Super, said, “We have prepared a health food voting event and discount promotions to cool down the heat for the upcoming Jungbok. We will continue to hold various promotions for customers visiting Lotte Mart and Super, so we ask for your great interest.”
