Lim Tae-hee, Superintendent of Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education, is speaking at the 'Neulbom Shared School' Inter-Ministerial Support Headquarters meeting held at Ori Elementary School in Seongnam City on the 15th.
Lim Tae-hee, Superintendent of Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education, announced that he is considering the development of Neulbom Schools tailored to Gyeonggi Province.
On the 15th, Superintendent Lim attended the 'Neulbom School Inter-Ministerial Support Headquarters Meeting' held at Ori Elementary School in Seongnam City and explained, "We are contemplating a Neulbom School model suitable for Gyeonggi Province," adding, "The Ori Elementary Neulbom Shared School model will be one of them."
Neulbom Schools are regional hub schools where local governments and communities collaborate to share personnel, spaces, and programs to provide high-quality educational care. Ori Elementary Neulbom School utilizes vacant classrooms to serve 132 students from 15 nearby elementary schools who use the Neulbom programs and Neulbom classrooms together.
Despite operating integrated school buses and running various programs based on surveys of students and parents' needs, the workload on schools has been reduced through management by the Education Support Office's Neulbom Support Center.
The meeting was conducted as a field visit and included ▲ observation of Neulbom School programs ▲ presentation of Gyeonggi Shared School cases ▲ sharing of first semester Neulbom School operation results and second semester support plans ▲ inter-ministerial educational resource linkage and cooperation ▲ plans for a contest on excellent cases of local government cooperation in Neulbom Schools.
Meanwhile, the Provincial Office of Education operated Neulbom Schools in 975 schools during the first semester.
