LOEWE was established in Germany in 1923. It is a home cinema brand that has consistently produced high-end TVs and audio equipment for over 100 years. Known for its unique design and use of materials such as concrete on the back of the TV, it is well recognized among luxury interior and design enthusiasts.

The LOEWE Stellar TV equipped with Samsung Electronics' Tizen OS allows users to access services and content such as Samsung TV Plus, which offers over 2,800 popular channels worldwide for free, Gaming Hub, and SmartThings.

Kim Yong-su, Vice President of Samsung Electronics' Visual Display Business Division, said, "The open platform Tizen OS, optimized for the AI TV era, has been applied to the premium brand LOEWE products. Through TVs equipped with Tizen OS, customers will be able to easily and conveniently enjoy rich content and innovative services embedded with Samsung technology."

Tizen OS is an operating system developed by Samsung Electronics and is one of the world's largest TV platforms. As of last year, Tizen OS has been applied to over 270 million Samsung smart TVs cumulatively connected.

Based on its high market share, Tizen OS provides the latest applications and free video streaming services such as Samsung TV Plus and Gaming Hub. It facilitates easy device connectivity and seamlessly links experiences across various services and content. Through Samsung Electronics' security platform Knox, it protects user information from unauthorized malicious app execution and external hacking. Samsung Electronics explained that the unique strengths of Tizen OS are gaining positive responses from global TV manufacturers who want to offer special value to consumers.

A Samsung Electronics official stated, "Samsung plans to lead the expansion of the open platform ecosystem by introducing Tizen OS, which applies various content, services, and an intuitive user interface, to an even wider range of TV manufacturers' products in the future."
