Naju City, Jeollanam-do (Mayor Yoon Byung-tae) announced on the 15th that it recently held a meeting to strengthen communication with young farmers at the 'Naju Art Museum Impressions.'
This meeting was organized to freely communicate about overall policies for young farmers and to share individual experiences and best practices.
Thirteen young farmers, Mayor Yoon Byung-tae of Naju City, and officials from the Naju Agricultural Technology Center attended the meeting, engaging in in-depth discussions about various experiences in the agricultural field and the practical difficulties faced by young farmers.
The attendees gave positive evaluations of Naju City's support policies for young farmers and offered various suggestions for better support measures.
A young farmer who attended the meeting said, "I am satisfied with Naju City's policies such as support for agricultural startups," and added, "I hope efforts will be made to create an environment where young farmers can engage in agriculture with peace of mind."
Mayor Yoon Byung-tae of Naju City stated, "It is meaningful to share opinions on agricultural development plans with the future leaders of Naju's agriculture," and added, "We will continue to strengthen communication with young farmers and do our best to establish practical support policies."
The city is implementing various support policies to help young farmers start and stabilize their businesses, including support for agricultural startups, provision of agricultural education and consulting, marketing and market development, and support for network formation.
