BNK Busan Bank Shares 3,000 Samgyetang Meals at 57 Locations for a Healthy Summer

Bank President Bang Sungbin Personally Serves Meals at Munhyeon Senior Welfare Center

Continuing 18 Years of Steady Social Contribution Since 2007

BNK Busan Bank delivered 3,000 health food kits, including Samgyetang, to 57 senior and comprehensive social welfare centers located in the 16 districts of Busan on the morning of the 15th to mark Chobok.

Busan Bank's "Healthy Summer Sharing Event" is a social contribution activity that has been practiced for 18 years since 2007, visiting local welfare centers to share with the community.

Today, at the Munhyeon Senior Welfare Center in Nam-gu, more than 20 executives and employees, including Busan Bank President Bang Sungbin, participated in serving Samgyetang themselves, helping seniors who are exhausted from the heat to regain their strength and spend a healthy summer.

Busan Bank President Sungbin Bang is serving Samgyetang at Munhyeon Senior Welfare Center in Namgu.

Busan Bank President Bang Sungbin said, "Due to climate change, this summer is expected to be longer and hotter than usual," and added, "I hope today's sharing activity has been of some help in restoring the energy of our seniors."

In addition, to support citizens in having a healthy summer, Busan Bank is providing "cooling shelters" at 210 branches nationwide until September 30, and is consistently carrying out social activities such as the "BNK Happiness Scholarship Program" for nurturing local talent, the "Safe Umbrella Support Project" for children's traffic safety, and the "Walking Together to School Support Project" to help underprivileged students in the region with the new semester.
