On the 15th, Regular 4th Album Part 1 'Black Simmer' Released
Singer-songwriter Sunwoo Jung-A will release her 4th full-length album Part 1 mini-album 'Neomeo [1. Black Shimmer]' on the 15th.
The mini-album contains a total of five tracks, including double title tracks. The first title track, "Byeolsatang" (STAR CANDY), is a song that feels like freedom and overflowing energy exploding like a star. It sings about affection for those who color a boring world in vibrant colors.
The other title track, "What the Hell," is like an elegant cry toward those who have hurt me and the rudeness they spit out. The honest and straightforward lyrics provide a sense of liberation and relief.
The included tracks "Bureun Sori" (Youth, for a while) and "Shimmer" feature self-confessional lyrics about drawing my own trajectory despite everything.
The final track, "JAZZ BOX" (Beyond ver), is a rearranged version of "JAZZ BOX," which was previously released in October on Sunwoo Jung-A's YouTube content "JAZZ BOX Season 2." It unfolds with unexpected sounds to give the feeling of moving to different planets in each part, matching the intended concept.
Agency Magic Strawberry Sound introduced, "'Neomeo' is an album containing Sunwoo Jung-A's long-cherished wish to always be a musician who looks beyond."
This 'Neomeo' series is divided into the Black Side, which contains brilliant liberation, and the White Side, like the calmness of an exhale. 'Neomeo [1. Black Shimmer]' corresponds to the Black Side. Part 2 is scheduled to be released in the fall.
Magic Strawberry Sound explained, "Although the message and direction we want to convey through the album are clear, since the included songs each boast different styles, instead of putting all the songs in one album, we decided to release them in two parts according to emotional and genre styles."
