On the 26th of last month, Heo Ung filed a complaint against A at the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul on charges including attempted extortion and threats, stating that A threatened to expose his private life through the media and social networking services (SNS) and demanded 300 million won. Subsequently, Heo Ung requested the police to investigate together, suspecting collusion with B, A's same-sex partner. In response to Heo Ung's complaint, A also filed a counter-complaint, alleging that Heo Ung assaulted her in 2021, forced sexual intercourse, and caused pregnancy.

Previously, it was revealed that A and B were also investigated as suspects in drug use and distribution in the extortion and threat case involving actor Lee Seon-gyun last year. At that time, A surrendered and received a suspended prosecution. A was accused of using drugs together with B, Hwang Hana, known as the third generation of the founder of Namyang Dairy Products, and her then-boyfriend, a former host bar worker.
B, known as A's same-sex partner, is a figure who became publicly known through the cable entertainment show 'Ulzzang Generation' in 2009 and is currently known to have a masculine appearance due to receiving male hormones. Additionally, B was first arrested in July last year for another drug case, just before the Lee Seon-gyun case became public. Subsequently, in the Lee Seon-gyun case, B was indicted in custody and is under investigation for supplying drugs to Kim Mo (31, female), a manager of an entertainment establishment, who is on trial at the Incheon District Court, and for using drugs together with her.
Meanwhile, amid the mutual complaints, the police are considering conducting a confrontation investigation between Heo Ung and A. On the 15th, Jo Ji-ho, Commissioner of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, stated at a regular press briefing that investigations into both parties regarding the case in which Heo Ung sued A for threats and other charges have been completed, and they plan to decide on whether to conduct a confrontation investigation based on the statements. The police also said that the investigation of A's complaint against Heo Ung for charges including rape and injury has not yet involved an accused investigation of Heo Ung.
