Busan Superintendent Ha Yoonsoo Launches Mutual Respect and School Violence Prevention Campaign

Over 50 Officials Including Yeonje District Mayor Joo Seoksu Also Participate

Busan Metropolitan City Superintendent Ha Yoonsoo conducted the "Mutual Respect in the Educational Community and School Violence Prevention Campaign" on the morning of the 15th near the school routes of Yeonje Middle School and Dongmyeong Elementary School.


This campaign was carried out to establish a culture of mutual respect in schools and to spread a culture of school violence prevention.


Approximately 50 participants joined the campaign, including Superintendent Ha Yoonsoo, Yeonje District Mayor Joo Seoksu, Busan City Council member Ahn Jaegwon, Yeonje District Council Chair Kwon Jongheon, Dongnae Office of Education Superintendent Lee Sugum, and representatives from the Dongnae School Steering Committee Association.


The participants promoted the campaign by holding placards, pamphlets, and promotional materials emphasizing messages such as "A school without violence through respect and consideration," "A school that respects teachers," and "Prevention of cyber gambling" along the school routes.


Afterwards, they held a discussion to seek measures for fostering a culture of mutual respect and preventing school violence.


Superintendent Ha Yoonsoo stated, "The current educational field faces various difficulties such as school violence and infringement of educational activities," and added, "I hope this campaign will serve as an opportunity to restore the educational community and protect the essence of public education."
