223 Employees Included in Regular Personnel Changes for Second Half, Including 47 Promotions

Geochang County, Gyeongnam Province, carried out its regular personnel appointments for the second half of 2024 on July 15, 2024, involving a total of 223 employees, including 47 promotions.


The number of promotions by rank is as follows: ▲Grade 4: 3 people ▲Grade 5: 4 people ▲Grade 6: 11 people ▲Grade 7: 11 people ▲Grade 8: 18 people. In addition, there were 140 transfers and 1 probationary employee.


Key positions were assigned as follows: Director of Administration Bureau Kang Junseok, Strategic Officer Lee Namyeol, Director of Population and Education Department Shim Seoni, Director of Safety Management Department Kim Seongguk, and Director of Urban Architecture Department Kim Hyuntae.

This regular personnel appointment was based on the fundamental principles of establishing a performance-oriented work culture, strengthening the competitiveness of individuals and the organization, and fostering a public service environment that rewards hardworking and capable employees. The focus was on balanced placement in the right positions through comprehensive consideration of organizational stability, continuity of work, job characteristics, and work performance.


In addition, by accepting transfer recommendations from department heads and personal transfer requests, as well as gathering preferred work locations for employees with multiple children, the county reviewed the best possible options to accommodate pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare, ensuring the personnel appointments were as considerate as possible for employees.
