On the 15th, Korea Development Bank (KDB) announced the establishment of a new "Marine and Investment Banking (IB) Specialized Education Program" to help university students in the Busan and Gyeongnam regions develop professional financial knowledge and prepare for future employment.
The training will be held over two days, from the 28th to 29th of next month, at "KDB NextONE Busan," located on the 9th floor of the KDB Busan Branch building. The newly established program is organized by KDB's Marine Industry Finance Headquarters and the Southeast Investment Banking Center, offering lectures on various topics including marine industry credit review, next-generation ship financing and marine fund financial structures, venture investment and ESG financial trends, and regional development project financing (PF).
The program has a capacity of 30 participants. Students wishing to participate should complete the application form posted on the KDB website's notice board and submit it via the email address specified in the announcement by the 29th. Selected students will be individually notified by the 31st, and participation is completely free of charge.
A KDB official stated, "We plan to issue separate certificates of completion to students who finish the course," adding, "We will strive to design the program more deeply and professionally to contribute to nurturing future financial talents in the Busan and Gyeongnam regions."
