The 'Comprehensive Measures for Small Business Owners and Self-Employed' reflect tasks proposed during various field visits such as the ‘Wumunhyundap’ sessions held by Minister Oh since January this year, and were jointly prepared by ministries including the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Ministry of Employment and Labor, and Financial Services Commission.

To ensure prompt and accurate policy delivery and execution, Minister Oh has continued on-site communication and execution checks through a policy meeting with the National Federation of Merchants on July 5, a visit to the Seoul Western Center of the Small Enterprise and Market Service on July 11, and the ‘Wumunhyundap’ session on July 12.
Minister Oh’s visit to the Small Enterprise and Market Service this time was to inspect the preparation status of the Regional Small and Medium Business Administration, the headquarters of the Small Enterprise and Market Service, and regional headquarters and centers, to ensure the comprehensive measures operate swiftly on the ground, and to emphasize the importance of each institution’s role.
The meeting was attended by more than 40 people, including Minister Oh, heads of regional Small and Medium Business Administrations, the chairman of the Small Enterprise and Market Service, regional headquarters directors, and directors of the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund Central Association. Center heads in the regions participated via video, involving all related organizations planning and implementing the measures.
The attendees discussed the progress in key areas of the comprehensive measures, including ▲alleviation of management burdens ▲support for business recovery ▲promotion of growth. They also reviewed the status of building the 'One-Stop Platform for Small Business Policy Information' to improve accessibility to small business policies.
Minister Oh emphasized, “The success or failure of these measures will be determined at the execution stage, and if execution does not proceed smoothly, it will be difficult to achieve the originally intended goals.” She added, “The headquarters of the Small Enterprise and Market Service must establish a ‘policy execution plan,’ and regional headquarters and centers should build networks with related organizations and play roles in detailed counseling and connecting with related agencies.”
