Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, visited Sangam Middle School on the afternoon of the 14th, where the 1st Mapo District Middle School Sports Festival ‘MSL (Mapo School League)’ was held.
Hosted and organized by the Mapo Youth Culture House, this event was prepared to encourage physical activity and healthy leisure activities among youth.
About 200 participants, including middle school students from eight schools in Mapo District and local residents, took part in the tournament-style futsal and basketball games held that day. Various experience booths such as cheer tool making and sticker tattoos were also prepared.
Attending the opening ceremony, Mayor Park Gang-su said, “I hope that through today’s sports festival, you can relieve the academic stress you have accumulated and enjoy time with your friends. Winning the competition is of course important, but above all, safety is the top priority, so please participate in the games with special caution.”
