Employees from Gyeongbuk Culture and Tourism Corporation, Gyeongbuk Development Corporation, and Gyeongbuk TP, three organizations, are promoting the APEC Summit after completing the 'Clean Gyeongbuk Connection' workshop event in Gyeongju.
This gathering is a practical council on audit, integrity, and human rights, comprised of three Gyeongbuk provincial government-funded organizations: Gyeongbuk Culture and Tourism Organization, Gyeongbuk Development Corporation, and Gyeongbuk Technopark Foundation. It was launched in April and has been promoting joint projects to spread a culture of integrity and respect for human rights throughout the province.
The workshop was attended by 20 people, including the working-level staff in charge from the three organizations and their respective integrity and human rights guardians.
The integrity and human rights guardians from the three organizations who participated in this workshop toured the Bomun Tourist Complex and Gyeongju Expo Grand Park, reaffirming their commitment to work together for the successful hosting of the APEC Summit in November 2025.
Kim Namil, President of Gyeongbuk Culture and Tourism Organization, stated, "I believe that integrity, ethical management, and human rights management are the foundation of all our activities," and added, "We will do our best to create an honest and inclusive Gyeongbuk that residents can truly feel, by revitalizing exchanges between organizations."
