A driver in his 40s hit a streetlight on the sidewalk with a Mercedes-Benz passenger car while driving, abandoned the overturned vehicle, and fled the scene.

According to the Haeundae Police Station in Busan on the 13th, at around 1 a.m. that day, a Mercedes-Benz passenger car driving toward the district office at the Eoguisamgeori intersection in U-dong, Haeundae-gu, Busan, hit a streetlight and overturned.
The passenger car, while accelerating, struck a streetlight on the sidewalk, spun once, and completely flipped over.
The driver escaped from the overturned car and fled the scene by taking a nearby taxi.
The police found a wallet and a mobile phone belonging to a man in his 40s, presumed to be the driver, Mr. A, inside the car.
The police visited Mr. A's residence twice that day, but the door was firmly closed.
The police are investigating Mr. A's whereabouts based on CCTV footage. They plan to conduct an investigation considering the possibility that the driver was under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of the accident.
