Payback Event of 10,000 KRW for 5,000 Users Spending Over 100,000 KRW
Dongjak-gu, Seoul announced on the 12th that it will issue the 'Dongjak Love Gift Certificate' worth 12 billion KRW and hold a payback event starting from 10 a.m. on the 15th. The Dongjak Love Gift Certificate can be purchased at a 5% discount, with a monthly purchase limit of 500,000 KRW per person and a total holding limit of 1,500,000 KRW.
The gift certificates can be purchased through the dedicated app 'Seoul Pay+', and the purchased certificates can be used at about 8,350 Seoul Pay affiliated stores within the district, including restaurants, beauty salons, and academies. However, entrance exam academies with annual sales exceeding 3 billion KRW and large supermarkets are excluded.
The validity period is five years from the date of purchase. Unused gift certificates can be canceled regardless of the period, and if more than 60% has been used, the remaining balance excluding the discount amount can be refunded.
The district will run a 'Payback Event' to promote the use of Dongjak Love Gift Certificates within the region from the 15th to August 14th. During the event period, those who use a total of 100,000 KRW or more in gift certificates will be entered into a draw to receive 10,000 KRW worth of Dongjak Love Gift Certificates, awarded to 5,000 winners.
Entry is automatic without a separate application, and the announcement of winners and prize distribution will be individually notified via text message to the phone numbers registered in the Seoul Pay+ app within 10 days after the event ends.
Dongjak-gu plans to revitalize the local commercial district by promoting consumption, having issued 4 billion KRW for Lunar New Year in January and 15 billion KRW for Family Month in May, totaling 31 billion KRW issued this year up to this month.
