Coupang announced on the 12th that it will hold a pre-sale of Samsung Electronics' next-generation foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Flip6 and Z Fold6, as well as new Galaxy wearable products until the 18th. Pre-purchasers can receive their products via Coupang Rocket Delivery starting from the official release date on the 24th.
The models available for purchase on Coupang include the Galaxy Z Fold6 (256GB, 512GB, 1TB), Galaxy Z Flip6 (256GB, 512GB), and four Galaxy wearable products (Galaxy Watch Ultra, Galaxy Watch 7, Galaxy Buds3 Pro, Galaxy Buds3).
The 2024 Galaxy Z6 series, unveiled at the Galaxy Unpacked event on the 10th, is praised as the thinnest and lightest among all Z series to date, offering enhanced portability. The latest Galaxy wearable products support a healthy daily life by combining Samsung Electronics' cutting-edge health technology with 'Galaxy AI.'
The domestic retail prices are as follows: Galaxy Z Fold6 unlocked (256GB) at 2,229,700 KRW, Galaxy Z Flip6 unlocked (256GB) at 1,485,000 KRW, Galaxy Buds3 at 219,000 KRW, Galaxy Buds3 Pro at 319,000 KRW, Galaxy Watch7 40mm Bluetooth at 349,000 KRW, Galaxy Watch7 44mm Bluetooth at 389,000 KRW, and Galaxy Watch Ultra 47mm LTE at 899,800 KRW.
Coupang offers a used device trade-in program called 'Galaxy Bakkwo Compensation' for pre-purchasers. From the 12th until the 31st of next month, customers who purchase a product can apply for Galaxy Bakkwo Compensation and return their old device to a Minte ATM within 14 days of receiving the new product to receive additional compensation on top of the used market price. The additional compensation amounts by model are up to 200,000 KRW for the Galaxy Z Flip6 and Z Fold6, up to 60,000 KRW for the Galaxy Buds3 series, and up to 40,000 KRW for the Galaxy Watch7 series.
During the pre-sale period, customers who purchase the Galaxy Z Flip6 or Z Fold6 with Coupang Safe Care (mobile phone damage insurance) will also enjoy a special event waiving the Coupang Safe Care deductible for one year from the date of product receipt.
When paying with the 'Coupang Wow Card' issued by KB Kookmin Card, customers can earn up to 40,000 KRW in Coupang Cash. They can sign up for the card and make payments directly on the Coupang mobile app pre-sale page.
Additionally, Coupang plans to offer extra benefits to consumers who purchase through the 'Coupang Live' broadcast starting at 7 PM on the 18th.
