Metacraft and Dongju Sign Business Agreement
Studio One Pick, a webtoon studio under Kakao Piccoma, announced on the 12th that it has signed a business agreement with digital content company 'Metacraft' and tech-based webtoon content startup 'Dongju' to produce webtoons for the global market.

The three companies, equipped with planning capabilities, intellectual property (IP), and production solutions necessary for webtoon creation, plan to leverage each other's strengths through this collaboration to produce works for global platforms and expand their intellectual property (IP). The produced works will be serialized on global platforms, including the electronic comics and novels platform Piccoma.
They have begun producing a webtoon based on the web novel "Omniscient First-Person Perspective" (author Gosokdoru), currently being serviced on Novelpia. The company expects that this project will create works that satisfy the diverse tastes and needs of global readers.
Studio One Pick has presented numerous distinctive works with unique characteristics in Korea and Japan. Metacraft operates the web novel platform 'Novelpia' and holds various genre web novel and webtoon IPs, including fantasy, martial arts, romance, horror, and science fiction (SF). Dongju has developed an all-in-one solution that supports optimal webtoon author team building and production, which is being introduced to its affiliated webtoon production studio 'Spin-off.'
Kim Hyun-joo, CEO of Studio One Pick, said, "This business agreement is the first step for the three companies, each with different strengths, to demonstrate synergy and present fresh works with diverse appeal," adding, "Based on our extensive experience releasing webtoons adapted from web novels in Korea and Japan, we will actively engage in this project."
