Dry Cleaning Station Operated Fully Unmanned
98% of Franchise Owners Manage Alongside Main Business
On the 12th, Uiksikju Company, the operator of Lundrigo, announced that the smart unmanned laundry 'Laundry24' has surpassed 150 stores in just two years. Laundry24 is a smart unmanned laundry that combines coin laundromats and laundry services, offering differentiated services such as dry cleaning and repairs through its self-developed dry cleaning station.
Laundry24 is rapidly expanding throughout Seoul, including Gangseo-gu, Mapo-gu, Yongsan-gu, and the metropolitan area, and is extending its reach nationwide to cities such as Busan, Daegu, and Jeonju. In particular, the dry cleaning station operates in a fully unmanned manner, with headquarters providing 24/7 service support for laundry management and customer service, distinguishing it from traditional laundry franchises that require store owners to be present on-site.
In fact, over 98% of Laundry24 franchise owners are office workers, freelancers, and others who manage their stores as a side job while maintaining their main occupations. Laundry24 operates stores not only in traditional commercial locations but also in seven large apartment complex community centers with over 1,500 households, six locations within the Samsung Electronics research campus, and two locations within the Samsung Display campus.
Lee Moon-kwon, head of the Laundry24 business division, said, “We have achieved rapid growth by maximizing customer convenience while providing thorough system support for store owners. We will continue to strive to offer innovative laundry services to customers in more regions through Laundry24.”
