Biden Denies Reports Advising to Avoid Events After 8 PM

U.S. President Joe Biden held a solo press conference in Washington DC on the 11th (local time) and denied reports that he said he would reduce events after 8 p.m., stating, "That is not true."

He explained, "What I said was that instead of starting every morning at 7 a.m. and finishing at midnight, it would be wiser to pace the day a little more." While drawing a line on doubts about the difficulty of performing presidential duties due to his advanced age, he effectively acknowledged some physical strain.

He added, "If fundraising starts at 8 instead of 9, everyone can be home by 10."
