Hancom announced on the 12th that its Web Hangeul Drafting Tool V2.0 has obtained the GS Certification Grade 1 from the Korea Information and Communication Technology Association (TTA).
The GS Certification, a national quality certification system, is awarded based on international standards by verifying the quality and functionality of software. It is highly trusted in evaluations and serves as an important indicator when adopting software.
Hancom's Web Hangeul Drafting Tool allows documents to be read and edited on web browsers that support HTML5. It features a user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) similar to Hancom Office Hangeul, enabling use without separate training. It supports various file formats. To maintain the usability of Hangeul, it provides shortcut keys similar to those in Hangeul, and ensures that the layout is preserved when copying and pasting documents, thereby securing document reusability.
The Web Hangeul Drafting Tool V2.0, introduced this year, supports various web browsers including Chrome, Edge, Whale, Firefox, and Safari. It can also be edited on tablets running Android and Apple operating systems. Additionally, it has enhanced document compatibility by applying the latest version of Hangeul.
In particular, the style function has been strengthened. Frequently used character or paragraph formats can be preset and selected when needed to change them all at once or to check various style information. A high-contrast theme with a large luminance difference between the document background and text color has also been added.
Kim Yeonsu, CEO of Hancom, said, "Since its launch in 2018, the Hancom Web Hangeul Drafting Tool has been chosen by more than 300 educational institutions, financial companies, and enterprises," adding, "Its excellent performance and compatibility have attracted high interest in the public sector as well."
