On Friday the 12th, the highest apparent temperature will rise to around 31 degrees Celsius in most parts of the country, with showers expected in various inland areas.

In the central inland, eastern inland of Jeonnam, inland of Jeonbuk, Gyeongbuk region, and inland areas of Ulsan and Gyeongnam, showers of 5 to 40 mm are expected from the afternoon through the night.


In areas experiencing showers, there may be gusts of wind along with thunder and lightning, so caution is advised regarding facility and crop management as well as safety accidents.


Hail is also expected in some areas, mainly in the inland and mountainous regions of Gangwon and the Gyeongsang region.


The morning low temperature is forecast to be between 20 and 24 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high temperature between 26 and 32 degrees Celsius, similar to or slightly higher than the average (morning low 20?22 degrees, daytime high 26?30 degrees).


In the Seoul metropolitan area, inland Gangwon, parts of northern Chungbuk, and northern inland Gyeongbuk, the highest apparent temperature will rise above 33 degrees Celsius, making it very hot, and in most other parts of the country, the highest apparent temperature will rise to around 31 degrees Celsius, making it warm.


Fine dust levels will be 'bad' in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, and Ulsan, while other regions will experience levels ranging from 'good' to 'normal'. However, Incheon, Chungnam, and Chungbuk are expected to have temporarily 'bad' levels in the morning and at night.


Sea waves will be 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the East Sea and West Sea nearshore waters, and 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the South Sea nearshore waters.


Wave heights in the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline) are expected to be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea, and 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the West Sea and South Sea.
