Yeongdeok County to Hold 'Mobile People’s Sinmungo' for Grievance and Inconvenience Consultations

Consultations in Various Fields Including Administration, Law, Agriculture, and Land Registration

The "Running National Sinmungo," hosted by Yeongdeok County in North Gyeongsang Province and the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, was held at 10 a.m. on the 3rd floor conference room of the county office on the 10th.

Yeongdeok County held the "Mobile National Complaints Center" for grievance and inconvenience consultations on the 10th.

The Running National Sinmungo is a field-oriented civil complaint resolution counseling system in which 18 specialized investigators from five institutions, including the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, visit local areas to listen to residents' grievances and difficulties and seek solutions.

This event provided counseling services in various areas, including all administrative fields, corruption reporting, administrative appeals, civil and criminal as well as everyday legal counseling, support for low-income financial services, support for welfare blind spots, land disputes, consumer damage relief, and labor relations (unemployment benefits).

Civil complaint counseling was conducted through both advance reservations and on-site registration on the day of the event. A total of 30 cases were handled, including requests for activation and support measures for unregistered senior centers, proposals for maintenance of rivers in flooded areas, and requests for the lifting of fishery resource protection zones.

County Governor Kim Kwangyeol said, "I hope this Running National Sinmungo event has become a clue to resolving the inconveniences and difficulties in everyday life," and added, "We will always maintain a field-oriented civil complaint administration to guarantee a better life for residents through open civil complaint services that prioritize and proactively reach out to the people."
