The SEMAS regional centers are key to executing the 'Comprehensive Measures for Small Business Owners and Self-Employed.' Accordingly, Minister Oh checked the situation to ensure the measures are promptly implemented on the ground and confirmed preparations for organic cooperation with related organizations such as Korea Asset Management Corporation (KAMCO) and Employment Welfare Centers.
Kim Sang-mok, head of the SEMAS Seoul Western Center, explained, "Since the announcement of the comprehensive measures, there has been increasing interest and inquiries from small business owners regarding policy funds and other initiatives. To provide clear guidance and swift implementation, we are thoroughly preparing for on-site execution by conducting staff training on newly launched tasks and studying initiatives from other ministries."
Minister Oh emphasized, "This plan was prepared jointly by government ministries and includes various support contents, so teamwork between ministries and agencies is crucial. We must mobilize all promotional channels so that small business owners can accurately understand and easily utilize the comprehensive measures, and swiftly establish a policy delivery system to avoid any delays in execution."
Furthermore, Minister Oh instructed the SEMAS Chairman to ensure thorough pre-preparations for the implementation of the measures at the SEMAS headquarters, as well as at the eight regional headquarters and 77 regional centers responsible for the field.
Meanwhile, following this field inspection, Minister Oh plans to visit the SEMAS headquarters on the 15th to receive reports on the execution preparation status of regional headquarters nationwide and to check the progress of the construction of the 'Small Business Policy Information One-Stop Platform,' a policy information platform for small business owners.
