On the afternoon of the 10th, Choi Ho-gwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District Office, attended the '2024 Regional Public Safety Council' held in the large conference room on the 2nd floor of Yeongdeungpo Police Station and discussed agenda items with council members.
Hosted by Yeongdeungpo Police Station, the council meeting was attended by Mayor Choi Ho-gwon, members of the Regional Public Safety Council, and heads of related departments to discuss agenda items concerning residents' safety and regional public security.
The meeting agenda included ▲ securing budget and collaboration for crime prevention promotional materials ▲ securing budget for Yeongdeungpo District suicide prevention projects ▲ budget support for joint inspections and promotional activities targeting vulnerable households to prevent child abuse ▲ cooperation to shorten the construction period of Yeongdeungpo Rotary ▲ requests for crackdowns on illegal parking of two-wheeled vehicles on sidewalks. Solutions to enhance the safety of district residents were sought together with related organizations.
Mayor Choi Ho-gwon of Yeongdeungpo District Office stated, “We will prioritize the safety of our residents and actively cooperate on the agenda discussed today,” adding, “We will continue to strengthen cooperation among related agencies and do our best to make Yeongdeungpo a better place to live.”
