On the 8th, Cox shared on her social media, "I just had my birthday. It's sad that I'm getting older, but there's no choice. I just have to do my best," sharing her daily routine focused on body management.

In the video, Cox is seen maintaining her healthy figure by doing chest and abdominal exercises to build stamina. Especially at the end of the video, she appears wearing only underwear with a face mask on, coming out of a freezer. Smiling as if she already knew this would become a hot topic, Cox said, "I did cryotherapy."

Cryotherapy is a treatment method that rapidly cools the injured area for a short time to aid physical recovery. Liquid nitrogen is vaporized to create an ultra-low temperature state around minus 110 degrees Celsius, and the body is exposed for 2 to 3 minutes. During this process, blood flow increases, metabolism becomes active, and calories are burned, making it effective for reducing body fat.

Meanwhile, in Korea, stores specializing in cryotherapy are increasing. In 2022, soccer player Hwang Hee-chan, who plays in the Premier League (EPL), attracted attention by showing himself inside a cryotherapy machine for treatment, and in 2023, Hyeri, an actress and former member of the group Girl's Day, posted a video introducing the pros and cons of the cryotherapy machine, drawing interest.

However, if you have high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, or cerebrovascular disease, caution is needed as the reduction in blood flow caused by cryotherapy could lead to fatal results. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has refused approval, stating that "there is insufficient evidence to support the therapeutic effects of cryotherapy."
