The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education will conduct a joint inspection for one week starting from the 11th, targeting all schools in the province to prevent summer disaster and safety accidents.
This inspection will be carried out jointly by the Office of Education, schools, and education support offices, and is designed to prevent safety accidents that may occur inside and outside schools during the summer season.
In addition, the office will provide the "Overview of Major Summer Disaster and Safety Accident Prevention Guidelines," which summarizes eight key areas by department, including ▲heavy rain ▲typhoons ▲water play ▲safety accidents ▲heat waves ▲infectious diseases ▲food poisoning.
During this intensive safety inspection period, schools will conduct thorough joint inspections targeting students, faculty, and parents; education support offices will focus on kindergartens, elementary, and middle schools; and the Office of Education will target high schools and special schools, while also collecting school opinions related to safety.
The Office of Education is systematically promoting safety-related policies with a focus on prevention, aiming for 'Zero Safety Accidents' this year.
Kang Sang-cheol, Director of the Safety and Welfare Division, stated, “Safety education and safety inspections can never be emphasized enough,” and added, “We will pay closer attention to ensure that the educational community in Jeonnam can live safely and healthily during the summer.”
