Volvik to Host the 2nd Celeb Duo Match Play Tournament

Golf brand Volvik is hosting the 2nd Celebrity Duo Match Play.

This tournament brings celebrities and amateurs together to create enjoyable memories. It will be held on August 25th at Dongchon GC in Chungju, Chungbuk. A total of 144 participants, including 32 popular celebrities and 112 male and female amateur golfers, will take part. Participants include GS Caltex Maekyung Open winner Kim Hong-taek, Kim Min-su who has 12 wins on the G Tour, Asia’s longest hitter Hong Hyun-joon, Hong Jin-joo who has won twice this year on the Korean LPGA (KLPGA) Champions Tour, KLPGA’s youngest major queen Bae Kyung-eun, Yang Soo-jin, Ahn So-hyun, Moon Jung-hyun, national sports legends Park No-jun, Hong Sung-heun, Jung Geun-woo, Song Jin-woo, Kim Se-jin, and Lee Woon-jae.

Volvik is recruiting male and female amateur golfers. Applications can be submitted through Volvik’s official website until the 31st. Eligibility requires male amateurs with a handicap of 95 or below and female amateurs with a handicap of 98 or below who enjoy playing golf. Teams consist of two players, one male and one female, forming a mixed duo. The participation fee is 390,000 KRW per person, which includes green fees, cart fees, caddie fees, refreshments at the rest house, a banquet course, and beverages. All participants will receive a welcome package worth approximately 600,000 KRW, consisting of a Volvik Prime caddie bag, new model balls, and a cap.
