Dong-Eui University AI Grand ICT Research Center and University of Georgia Advanced Computer-Human Ecosystem Center Sign MOU

The Dong-Eui University Artificial Intelligence Grand ICT Research Center (Director: Jung Seokchan) signed an MOU with the University of Georgia Center for Advanced Computer-Human Ecosystems (Director: Ahn Sunju) at the AI Open Lab in the Industry-Academic Cooperation Building on the 5th.

Dong-Eui University Artificial Intelligence Grand ICT Research Center Signed Agreement with University of Georgia, USA.

This agreement aims to promote international academic cooperation in the fields of XR-Metaverse and AI through joint international research and to foster professional talent through student and researcher exchanges. The signing ceremony was attended by Jung Seokchan, Director of the Artificial Intelligence Grand ICT Research Center, and Ahn Sunju, Director of the Center for Advanced Computer-Human Ecosystems at the University of Georgia.

Through this agreement, the two institutions agreed to mutually cooperate in ▲joint research and R&D collaboration in XR-Metaverse and AI ▲network support for technology exchange and ecosystem development in XR-Metaverse and AI ▲on-site workforce training and student/researcher exchanges ▲development of educational programs ▲support for projects and events.

Jung Seokchan, Director, stated, "Through this agreement, we have established an international research environment that leverages the AI technology of the Artificial Intelligence Grand ICT Research Center and the XR-Metaverse technology of the Center for Advanced Computer-Human Ecosystems. We will strive to nurture technologies and talents with global competitiveness based on international collaboration and joint research."

The Artificial Intelligence Grand ICT Research Center is being operated with support from the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Institute of Information & Communications Technology Planning & Evaluation (IITP) as part of the 'Regional Intelligence Innovation Talent Development Project.'
