Hongseong County to Provide Up to 540,000 Won Support for '3chon Summer School' Participants

Held from August 5 to 11... 100 Participants from 50 Teams to Be Selected

Hongseong County in Chungnam is recruiting participants for the 'Summer School with Three Villages' program until the 21st.

The Summer School with Rural, Fishing, and Mountain Villages will be held from August 5 to 11, and anyone except Chungnam residents can apply.

The county plans to support up to 540,000 KRW per person for 100 participants in 50 teams, covering accommodation, incidental expenses, and activity fees. Participants will also receive special accommodation rates during the peak season.

Kim Taegi, Director of Culture and Tourism, said, "Through the Hongseong Summer School, I hope participants will have the opportunity not just to travel, but to directly experience rural, fishing, and mountain villages and interact with local residents," adding, "We also hope this will lead to an increase in the local resident population."
