Shinhan Bank Celebrates 42nd Anniversary with Up to 7.7% Interest 'Eonjedeun Savings'

Shinhan Bank announced on the 10th that it will sell up to 200,000 accounts of the savings product 'Whenever Savings,' which offers an interest rate of up to 7.7% per annum, until December 19th to commemorate its 42nd anniversary.

Whenever Savings is a one-year maturity flexible savings account that allows deposits of up to 300,000 KRW per month, and is available to both individual and sole proprietor customers.

The interest rate is applied at 7.7% per annum, combining a basic annual rate of 4.2% with a preferential interest rate of up to 3.5 percentage points. The preferential rate of 3.5 percentage points per annum is offered to customers who have not held any Shinhan Bank fixed deposits, savings deposits, or housing subscription savings products in the past year. Shinhan Bank set the maximum interest rate at 7.7% inspired by its founding anniversary date, July 7th, when launching 'Whenever Savings' to celebrate its 42nd anniversary.

Whenever Savings has an advantage in terms of early termination. Although it is a 12-month savings product, from the point one month has passed, customers can terminate early and still receive the contracted interest rate at the time of subscription rather than the early termination interest rate. This makes it easier and more favorable for customers to join without any burden regarding interest rate application.

To celebrate the launch of Whenever Savings, Shinhan Bank is also running the event 'Luck Explodes 7.7.7.'

Until July 31st, customers who newly subscribe to Whenever Savings and enter the event through 'Shinhan SOL Bank' will be entered into a draw to win ▲770,000 My Shinhan Points (7 winners) ▲70,000 My Shinhan Points (777 winners), and all participants will receive a 3,000 KRW discount coupon for Ttaenggyeoyo. My Shinhan Points will be awarded if the savings account is maintained until the event draw date on August 16th.
