On the 9th, Kang Hyung-wook wrote on his Instagram, "When I was doing 'Senagae,' I was 'Senagae' itself, and when I was doing 'Gaehulryung,' I was 'Gaehulryung' itself." 'Senagae' refers to the EBS educational program 'There Are No Bad Dogs in the World.'

He added, "I don't know what program I will do in the future, but at that time, that will be me, and I will do my best during filming," and "It was nice and enjoyable to meet everyone on 'Gaehulryung'." Along with the post, he uploaded a screenshot of himself shouting "beggars" on 'Gaehulryung.'

Earlier, KBS announced the tentative cancellation of 'Gaehulryung' the day before. KBS stated, "'Gaehulryung' will be tentatively canceled and then renewed," and "Kang Hyung-wook's appearance in the new format is not being considered."

First aired in 2019, 'Gaehulryung' is a program that aims to foster a mature pet culture by exploring how dogs and people can live happily together, and it has received great love from viewers for nearly four and a half years. However, following Kang Hyung-wook's power abuse controversy in May, the show was repeatedly postponed and resumed broadcasting on the 17th of last month.

Meanwhile, in May, Kang Hyung-wook was embroiled in a controversy over power abuse toward employees of Bodeum Company, where he is the CEO. Although he explained the allegations through his YouTube channel, two former employees of Bodeum Company have filed a complaint against Kang Hyung-wook and his spouse for violating the Information and Communications Network Act.
