Gyeongbuk Technopark held the first Energy Saving Promotion Committee of 2024 on June 8 to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.

Sincere Commitment to Carbon Neutrality... Gyeongbuk TP Holds First Half 'Energy Saving Promotion Committee' Meeting Gyeongbuk Technopark held the first Energy Saving Promotion Committee meeting of 2024 on the 8th to realize carbon neutrality by 2050.

The Gyeongbuk TP Energy Saving Promotion Committee has been promoting sustainable ESG management activities by setting, planning, and implementing energy reduction goals and projects for each department.


This recently held committee meeting aims to lead by example in public institution energy saving, spread awareness of energy conservation, actively respond to climate change, and reflect the results of self-inspection, analysis, and evaluation of energy consumption and savings performance in the next energy saving plan.


Gyeongbuk TP has been continuously carrying out practical energy saving activities in office spaces by operating the Energy Keeper program every year to promote energy conservation.


Additionally, the effectiveness of the mid- to long-term energy saving measures will be self-checked in early December.


The meeting discussed: ▲achieving specific and practical promotion goals ▲establishing detailed energy reduction plans for items such as building mechanical and electrical facilities ▲promoting a company-wide energy saving participation campaign ▲discovering collaborative energy reduction projects with local companies.


Ha Inseong, President of Gyeongbuk Technopark, said, "Through effective committee operations, we will improve and expand energy saving practices in daily life and become a model public institution for the local community and the public."
