Similarly, a service contract worth 15 million KRW was signed with Jangheung County to support the "Jangheung County Residents Employment Capacity Program." Considering the characteristics of the participants and the required completion hours, the program will run for a total of 15 weeks from August to November, following a preparation period in July. To address residents' questions about entrepreneurship, the program will be linked with a 'Startup School' if necessary.

President Lee Byung-woon of Suncheon National University stated, "Our university plans to continuously develop and support lifelong education programs desired by local residents through closer cooperation with Jeollanam-do as part of the Glocal University Project. We believe that supporting the employment and entrepreneurship capacity development of local residents in Gurye and Jangheung counties will greatly contribute to creating a better living environment in the region. We will also expand educational cooperation with other local governments in the future."

Meanwhile, as part of the Glocal University Project, Suncheon National University developed customized lifelong education programs through policy research conducted in May. Based on this, in June, the university received applications from local governments for desired lifelong education courses and is currently finalizing instructor recruitment and lecture schedules in coordination with each local government.

Starting in September, the university will jointly open and operate lifelong education programs focused on certification acquisition courses with local governments.
