- 'Sanseong Station Harriston' recorded an average competition rate of 30.57 to 1 for first priority on the 2nd
- Demanders show strong interest in Seongnam City's 'Harrington Square Sinheung Station' scheduled for sale in August
Recently, the ‘Sanseong Station Harriston’ in Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi Province, which attracted about 20,000 subscription applications, successfully closed all units in the first priority round, sparking increased interest in nearby residential complexes.
According to the Korea Real Estate Board’s Subscription Home, ‘Sanseong Station Harriston,’ which accepted applications on the 2nd, received 18,952 applications for 620 general supply units, recording an average competition rate of 30.57 to 1 in the first priority round, successfully closing all units in the first priority.
The success factor of this complex is analyzed to be largely due to the significant future value of Seongnam-si. Currently, there are a total of 22 redevelopment projects underway or in progress in Seongnam-si, with a planned total of 49,280 households, reaching about 50,000 units. Last year alone, two complexes were occupied: Geumgwang 1 District in Geumgwang-dong, Jungwon-gu (e-Pyeonhansesang Geumbit Grand Maison) and Sinheung 2 District in Sinheung-dong, Sujeong-gu (Sanseong Station Xi Prugio). With the complexes currently under development also moving in, Seongnam is expected to transform into a very different city.
Accordingly, demand is expected to be high for another Seongnam-si supply complex, ‘Harrington Square Sinheung Station,’ which announced its August sales schedule. It is located in Jungang-dong, Jungwon-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi Province, supplied through the Jung 1 District Urban Environment Improvement Project. The complex will consist of 15 apartment buildings with 1,972 units and 2 officetel buildings with 240 units, ranging from 4 basement floors to a maximum of 35 floors above ground. Among these, 1,311 apartment units with exclusive areas of 59 to 84㎡ and 138 officetel units with exclusive areas of 26 to 36㎡ will be offered to the general public.
In particular, the complex is expected to be a ‘landmark’ as the tallest building near Sinheung Station. It is a rare large-scale flatland complex in the old downtown of Seongnam, making it highly preferred by local residents.
‘Harrington Square Sinheung Station’ also boasts a superior ultra-transit-oriented location. It is directly connected to Sinheung Station on Seoul Subway Line 8 (connected via the sunken plaza of Complex 1). It takes only two stops on Line 8 to reach Moran Station on the Bundang Line, making transfers to the Bundang Line easy. This allows travel to Gangnam, Seoul, within 30 minutes. The nearby Gyeongchung-daero and Yeosu-daero provide easy access to the Bundang-Suseo Urban Expressway and the Metropolitan Area 1st Ring Expressway.
As it carries the Harrington brand, the complex design is also expected to be excellent. The layout will mainly face south, featuring 4Bay floor plans, 2.4m ceiling heights, pantries, alpha rooms, and various specialized designs according to area and type, promising broad demand capture and exceptional residential satisfaction.
Meanwhile, the ‘Harrington Square Sinheung Station’ model house is located in Jungang-dong, Jungwon-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi Province, and is scheduled to begin full-scale sales in August.
