Worker in His 60s Dies After Being Trapped in Machine at Cheonan Factory

Accident Occurs During Printing Roller Operation at Corrugated Box Manufacturing Plant

A worker in his 60s died after being caught in a machine at a corrugated box manufacturing factory in Cheonan, Chungnam Province.

According to the Cheonan Seobuk Fire Station and police on the 9th, a report was received at around 4:56 p.m. the previous day that Mr. A (64) had been caught in a printing roller machine at a corrugated box manufacturing factory located in Jiksan-eup, Seobuk-gu, Cheonan. Firefighters who arrived at the scene disassembled the machine and rescued Mr. A, transporting him to the hospital, but he passed away.

The police are investigating the exact cause of the accident.
