Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) announced that it will hold the opening ceremony of the Workers' Comprehensive Support Center 'NodakNodak' at 10 a.m. on the 11th to improve the quality of life and welfare of workers.
The opening of the Workers' Comprehensive Support Center was promoted to enhance labor rights and interests by providing comprehensive labor welfare services to various residents, including vulnerable workers, youth, and students.
The center is located in the knowledge industry center 'Gasan Public (Building A, Units 511 and 512)' and covers an area of 154.34㎡. The name 'NodakNodak' signifies a comfortable and friendly space that anyone can visit anytime.
The center was created as a complex space where labor consultation, human interaction, and rest are all possible, reflecting the needs of office workers and job-seeking youth concentrated in the Gasan Digital Complex.
The district will promote projects to improve working conditions and labor awareness as well as labor welfare support projects at the center.
The 'Working Conditions Improvement Project' provides free consultations on labor affairs, labor law, and job counseling. Certified labor attorneys and job counseling specialists stationed at the center offer professional consultations to workers and job seekers.
Consultations with certified labor attorneys are available on weekdays from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Any worker can receive free specialized consultations on labor-related issues such as wage arrears and unfair dismissal in a separately prepared consultation room. Job counseling operates from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays, providing local job information and customized employment counseling services for job seekers.
The 'Labor Awareness Improvement Project' offers labor law education on topics such as the Labor Standards Act, wages, severance pay, and working hours to workers, youth, and adolescents to help them understand their rights.
Additionally, to improve awareness of workers, the project promotes labor human rights education, safety education, and campaigns for delivery workers.
The 'Labor Welfare Support Project' operates cultural and welfare programs such as healing programs for office workers and job seekers. It plans to run health, performance, and exchange programs for workers and youth in cooperation with related local organizations.
Convenience spaces where human interaction and rest are possible have also been prepared for G-Valley office workers and job-seeking youth.
A cafeteria has been created where workers and job seekers can visit anytime to enjoy beverages, relax comfortably, or have conversations. Spaces for charging mobile phones and using portable computers have also been provided to make it a useful space for local residents.
Yu Seong-hoon, Mayor of Geumcheon-gu, said, "With the opening of the Workers' Comprehensive Support Center, we can provide professional and comprehensive labor services reflecting regional characteristics to workers and job seekers," adding, "We will contribute to creating workplaces full of vitality and a world where working is enjoyable by respecting the lives and value of workers."
