Yongin City Attracts 3 Companies Including YesT, Yes Heating Technics, and HK Materials
Research and Production Facilities to Be Established on 32,903㎡ in Deokseong-ri, Idong-eup by 2026
On the 9th, Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province announced that it has attracted three semiconductor materials, parts, and equipment (SoBuJang) companies to the Deokseong-ri area in Idong-eup, Cheoin-gu.
The companies attracted by the city are YesTY Co., Ltd., Yes Heating Technics Co., Ltd., and HK Materials Co., Ltd. They plan to invest 55 billion KRW by 2026 to build research and production facilities on a 32,903㎡ site at 448-8 Deokseong-ri.

YesTY is a KOSDAQ-listed company that produces semiconductor and display process equipment. It holds numerous patented technologies in the fields of heat sources, temperature control, and pressure control. The company also possesses core technologies for wafer furnaces used in High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) and high-pressure annealing equipment. Yes Heating Technics, a subsidiary of YesTY, produces semiconductor and display parts. HK Materials is described by the city as a company related to materials necessary for semiconductor and display processes.
The site where these companies will be located is adjacent to Yongin Technovalley. Next to it, the Idong Public Housing District, which will serve as a semiconductor hinterland new town, is planned to be developed. It is also close to the Advanced System Semiconductor National Industrial Complex, where Samsung Electronics’ production lines will be established.
It is reported that Yongin City made considerable efforts to attract these companies. The city provided customized consulting, including site surveys and analyses of possible factory establishment areas within the jurisdiction. To enable swift investment decisions, city officials visited production facilities of the three companies in Pyeongtaek, Cheonan, and other locations to inspect production processes and emission facilities and advised on the feasibility of factory establishment.
The city expects that by the second half of 2026, when the factories of these three companies are fully operational, sales will reach 212 billion KRW and about 500 jobs will be created.
A city official said, "With the establishment of the Advanced System Semiconductor Industrial Complex and the Yongin Semiconductor Cluster, inquiries from semiconductor SoBuJang companies about relocation are increasing," adding, "We will provide customized consulting and prompt permit support to ensure companies wishing to relocate can do so smoothly."
