Im Sung-jae rose to 28th in the world rankings.

In the men's golf weekly world rankings announced on the 7th (local time), he earned 2.91 points, moving up one spot from 29th last week. He accumulated points by finishing tied for 12th place (20-under 264) at the PGA Tour John Deere Classic (total prize money $8 million), which concluded at TPC Deere Run (par 71, 7,289 yards) in Silvis, Illinois, USA. Although he narrowly missed the 'top 10' by one stroke behind the group tied for 7th, he continued his good form following a tie for 3rd at last week's Travelers Championship. This year, he has participated in 19 tournaments and entered the 'top 10' five times.


Scottie Scheffler (USA), Rory McIlroy (Northern Ireland), and Xander Schauffele (USA) maintained their 1st to 3rd positions from last week. Among LIV Golf members, Bryson DeChambeau (USA) ranked 9th, and Jon Rahm (Spain) was 10th. For Korea, Kim Joo-hyung held 17th place. An Byeong-hun was 30th, and Kim Si-woo was positioned at 50th. Davis Thompson (USA), who won his first career title at the John Deere Classic, jumped from 70th last week to 38th.
