Guro-gu Opens Anyangcheon Water Playground

Open from 10 AM to 6 PM... Closed every Monday and during rain... Operating until August 25

Guro-gu (District Mayor Moon Heon-il) held the opening ceremony of the ‘Anyangcheon Water Playground’ on the 6th.

The Anyangcheon Water Playground is located at 285-34 Sindorim-dong, under Ogumgyo Bridge on Anyangcheon, and is a representative attraction of the district as a summer retreat space in the city during the hot season.

The opening ceremony was held with the attendance of Moon Heon-il, Mayor of Guro-gu, local residents, and others, proceeding with event guidance, introduction of guests, greetings, congratulatory speeches, declaration of opening, and commemorative photo session.

After the photo session, the guests took time to tour the water playground together with the residents who attended the opening ceremony.

Mayor Moon Heon-il of Guro-gu said, “As the number of visitors is expected to be higher than last year due to the heatwave, we will do our best to operate the water playground so that everyone can have a safe and cool summer.”

The Anyangcheon Water Playground will be open free of charge from July 2 to August 25, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., excluding break time (from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.), and will be closed every Monday and during rainy weather.
