DL, Winning First Reconstruction Order This Year, Enters Jamsil with 'Acro'

Won Jamsil Woosung 4th Phase Construction Contract Worth 381.7 Billion KRW Secured

DL E&C has successfully secured its first order in the housing maintenance business this year by obtaining the construction rights for the Jamsil Woosung 4th maintenance project in Songpa-gu. With this order, DL E&C will apply its high-end housing brand ‘Acro’ in Songpa-gu for the first time. Following this order, DL E&C plans to pursue prime maintenance projects in areas such as Dogok-dong and Hannam in Seoul during the second half of the year.

DL E&C announced on the 8th that it was finally selected as the construction company at the general meeting held on the 6th for the Jamsil Woosung 4th reconstruction maintenance project. The company will independently carry out the reconstruction project with a construction cost of 381.7 billion KRW.


Jamsil Woosung 4th will be transformed through reconstruction into a complex with 9 buildings ranging from 4 basement floors to 32 above-ground floors, totaling 825 households. Construction is scheduled to begin in September 2026 and be completed by March 2030. The project offers views of the Tancheon Stream and is equipped with transportation infrastructure such as Samjeon Station on Subway Line 9 and the Olympic Expressway. Residents will also benefit from abundant living and educational infrastructure including department stores and large supermarkets. The area is considered a beneficiary of various development projects such as the Jamsil MICE and Yeongdong-daero complex development.


DL E&C is focusing on selective orders, putting great effort into securing flagship apartments along the Han River and other prime locations. On the 1st, it submitted a bid for the selection of the construction company for the Gaepo Hanshin Apartment in Dogok-dong and is awaiting the results. Doosan Construction also participated in the bidding. The Dogok Gaepo Hanshin Apartment, completed in 1985, consists of 620 households and is planned to be reconstructed into 7 buildings with 816 households. The total construction cost is 429.5 billion KRW, with a cost of 9.2 million KRW per 3.3㎡.


DL E&C has also been dedicating efforts to securing the Hannam 5 District project for a long time. Hannam New Town is an area where major construction companies fiercely compete to plant their high-end brand flags, but DL E&C has a history of failing to secure the Hannam 3 District project. The bidding for the Hannam 5 District construction company is scheduled for the 16th. After redevelopment, Hannam 5 District will consist of 56 buildings ranging from 6 basement floors to 23 above-ground floors, with 2,592 apartment units, sales facilities, and one building for office facilities (officetel).


The ‘Acro’ brand is applied to complexes known as flagship apartments along the Han River, including reconstruction projects in Gangnam, Seoul, and other major areas. In Seocho and Gangnam districts, there are Acro River Park, Acro Riverview, and Acro Hills Nonhyeon. Outside the three Gangnam districts, there are Acro River Heim, Acro Seoul Forest, and Acro Tower Square. In Busan, the ‘Acro’ brand is applied to reconstruction projects such as Udong 1 District and Promotion 3 District.


A DL E&C official stated, "We plan to continue active bidding activities in major maintenance project sites in Seoul during the second half of this year, maintaining our selective order policy."
