Unregistered party association chairpersons of the People Power Party are pushing for a press conference condemning Han Dong-hoon, the party leader candidate, over the 'ignoring Kim Geon-hee's text messages' incident and calling for his resignation, sparking controversy over a 'second Yeonpanjang.' Amid this, Na Kyung-won, another party leader candidate, stated, "Han Dong-hoon and Won Hee-ryong are fighting too much. It's old-fashioned," and asserted, "I should be the party leader."

On the 8th, Na said on CBS Radio's 'Kim Hyun-jung's News Show,' "Politics is an important, behind-the-scenes art of consensus and negotiation," and criticized Han by saying, "(Not communicating with Mrs. Kim) is either politically immature or an intentional distancing from the president."

Na emphasized that regardless of whether Mrs. Kim tried to apologize through text (regarding the luxury bag controversy), Han should have communicated. He said, "The person involved in the incident is trying to speak directly, but communication was cut off, and calling it public or private shows (Han) is far from being ready for politics," and insisted that Han should not be the party leader.

Regarding the 'second Yeonpanjang' incident targeting Han, Na said, "One should not feel wronged," and added, "Calling for (Han's) resignation is also very old-fashioned. The party convention is too old-fashioned."

Na expressed concern over the tense atmosphere between Han and Won Hee-ryong and stressed that he must become the party leader. He criticized, "If either one becomes the party leader, the People Power Party might collapse," and said, "There is a proper way to fight, and fights should heal wounds, but they are fighting as if their lives depend on it." He continued, "What we must be most wary of is factional conflict and clashes," and worried, "Our party has always failed due to division. After this old-fashioned party convention ends, factional divisions will not be resolved but will deepen."

Meanwhile, Na criticized the two candidates Han Dong-hoon and Won Hee-ryong on Facebook the day before, saying, "This is why they lost in the general election," calling it "a spectacle of the defeat brothers." About Han, he said, "An irresponsible amateur who lost even the opportunity for Mrs. Kim Geon-hee's apology, which our party members, the public, and general election candidates so desperately wanted, by clumsily distinguishing between official and unofficial." Regarding Won, he harshly remarked, "A reckless avatar who, in the meantime, only aggravates the backlash by persistently drawing lines."
