Hong Jun-pyo's 'Eoljuki' Remark... Jin Joong-kwon "You Begged to Appear on Broadcasts During the Presidential Election"

Jin Joong-kwon "Both Resentful and Pitiful"

Daegu Mayor Hong Jun-pyo criticized both Han Dong-hoon, the People Power Party's presidential candidate, and Jin Joong-kwon, a special professor at Kwangwoon University, calling them "incompetents." In response, Professor Jin pointed out, "People shouldn't behave like that."

On the 7th, Mayor Hong wrote on his Facebook, "During the last general election, Han Dong-hoon ignored the party leadership and only listened to incompetent leftists he brought along and Professor Jin's advice. It seems that was not a baseless rumor," adding, "Seeing Professor Jin side with Han Dong-hoon and even interfere in the party convention, it seems that is true."

This appears to be a criticism of Professor Jin's defense regarding the controversy over ignoring Mrs. Kim Geon-hee's text messages, where Jin stated, "Regarding the content of the messages, the explanation from Chairman Han Dong-hoon's side is correct. I personally confirmed this."

Mayor Hong criticized, "I don't know because the phone password is 27 digits long, but the state of the party is ridiculous," and said, "It's absurd that the party has been swayed by such incompetents since the general election. Everyone, get a grip."

In response, Professor Jin targeted Mayor Hong, saying, "During the last presidential election, he begged me to appear on his broadcast, so I took the time to appear without pay, but now he betrays me like that." He added, "Back then, he was desperate not to be swayed by incompetent leftists, but it seems the situation has changed."

Professor Jin said, "Coincidentally, Hong Jun-pyo, Won Hee-ryong, and Na Kyung-won all share the commonality that three years ago they were desperate to be associated with me," adding, "But now, seeing them lie like this, it's both infuriating and pitiful. People become ugly when they try to covet what is not theirs."

Furthermore, he said, "Do you think the Han Dong-hoon trend was created for no reason? It reflects a certain evaluation from the support base regarding the Yoon administration and the pro-Yoon 'Ten Eunuchs.' Believing that a shabby conspiracy can overturn that is foolish."

Finally, he concluded, "Of course, I understand that they have no choice but to act foolishly," but added, "Their problem lies in firmly believing that the People Power Party's supporters are fools who will fall for their shabby schemes. This is not the 1980s anymore."
