The newly introduced two types of tteokbokki are made with soft and chewy rice cakes that do not easily break and maintain their chewy texture even after being frozen and cooked. The ‘Skewered Fish Cake Tteokbokki’ includes skewered fish cakes that perfectly complement the spicy and sweet tteokbokki. The skewered fish cakes are made from cutlassfish meat, thinly sliced to create a chewy texture, and individually shaped into wave patterns to allow the seasoning to soak in well. The ‘Karaage Tteokbokki’ lets you enjoy tteokbokki together with plump chicken karaage. The karaage, reminiscent of what you’d find at izakayas or Japanese rice bowl specialty restaurants, features juicy, tender meat inside with a crispy exterior.

The new product ‘Matdak Chicken Breast’ is made from 100% domestic chicken breast marinated in a special sauce for over 12 hours and cooked twice at 220°C to deeply infuse the seasoning while preserving moisture for a tender texture. The chicken breast is minced 300 times, resulting in a softer texture than the original ingredient. ‘Matdak Chicken Breast Mala Flavor’ features the distinctive spicy and tingling heat of mala, while ‘Matdak Chicken Breast Barbecue Flavor’ offers a sweet and savory taste based on soy sauce seasoning. As a refrigerated product, it requires no thawing; simply tear open the packaging slightly and microwave for about one minute to easily enjoy delicious high-protein chicken breast.

Ottogi Launches 'Sunhuchu Gyoza' and 'Curry Fried Dumplings'

The new products ‘Sunhuchu Gyoza’ and ‘Curry Fried Dumplings’ commemorate the 50th anniversary of ‘Sunhuchu’ and the 55th anniversary of ‘Ottogi Curry,’ respectively, utilizing the intellectual property (IP) of each product. Sunhuchu Gyoza are dumplings in gyoza form with whole Sunhuchu peppercorns embedded in the filling, allowing you to enjoy the sharp and spicy flavor of Sunhuchu. The triangular-shaped ‘Curry Fried Dumplings’ have wrappers made with rice flour and turmeric to create a crispy texture and a yellow hue. The filling is packed with meat and onions, and uses ‘Ottogi Curry Mildly Spicy’ to deliver a familiar curry flavor.
