President Yoon's Approval Rating Falls 0.5% to 31.1%
People Power Party Approval Rating Drops 0.7% to 36.0%
Democratic Party Approval Rating Rises 4.1% to 38.2%

President Yoon Suk-yeol's approval rating slightly declined, remaining in the low 30% range for the 13th consecutive week. Since the general election, his approval rating has been stuck in a box range without finding a breakthrough. The Democratic Party's approval rating rose amid the filibuster over the 'Chae Sang-byeong Special Prosecutor Act' political situation.


According to a public opinion poll released on the 8th by Realmeter (conducted from the 1st to the 5th at the request of Energy Economy Newspaper, targeting 2,505 voters aged 18 and over, with 97% mobile and 3% landline using an automated response system (ARS)), President Yoon's approval rating for state affairs dropped by 0.5 percentage points from the previous survey to 31.1%. Negative evaluations of his performance increased by 1.3 percentage points to 65.3%.


By ideological inclination, the decline in approval was notable among conservatives (down 3.8 percentage points, from 55.8% to 52.0%).

In the party approval rating survey (conducted from the 4th to the 5th at the request of Energy Economy Newspaper, targeting 1,001 voters aged 18 and over, with 97% mobile and 3% landline using an automated response system (ARS)), the Democratic Party's approval rating rose by 4.1 percentage points to 38.2%. The People Power Party fell by 0.7 percentage points to 36.0%, the Innovation Party dropped by 1.3 percentage points to 10.9%, and the Reform Party decreased by 1.6 percentage points to 3.8%. It is estimated that the Democratic Party's approval rating increased amid the filibuster over the Chae Sang-byeong Special Prosecutor Act political situation.


The Democratic Party's approval rating rose by 10.5 percentage points in Incheon and Gyeonggi, and by 9.9 percentage points in Daejeon, Sejong, and Chungcheong. The People Power Party's approval rating fell by 6.7 percentage points in Daejeon, Sejong, and Chungcheong.
