On the 7th (local time), at TPC Deere Run (par 71, 7,289 yards) in Silvis, Illinois, USA, during the 4th round of the PGA Tour John Deere Classic (total prize money $8 million), he shot a 7-under-par 64 to finish tied for 12th place (20-under-par 264). Although he narrowly missed the 'Top 10' by one stroke behind the group tied for 7th, he continued his good form following a tie for 3rd place at last week's Travelers Championship. This year, he has participated in 19 tournaments and finished in the 'Top 10' five times.

Im Sung-jae started from a tie for 21st place and racked up 9 birdies (2 bogeys). After an exciting streak of 5 consecutive birdies from holes 1 to 5, he took a brief breather with consecutive bogeys on holes 7 and 8. In the back nine, he showed resilience by adding consecutive birdies on holes 10 and 11, and two more birdies on holes 14 and 17. He powered his game with powerful drives up to 362 yards and an average of 1.63 putts per hole when hitting the green.

Davis Thompson (USA) shot 7-under to claim a commanding victory by 4 strokes (28-under-par 256). This was his first win trophy, achieved in his 63rd PGA Tour event since joining the regular tour last year. He earned $1.44 million (approximately 2 billion KRW) in prize money. Currently ranked 70th in the world, his best previous results were three runner-up finishes.

Amateur Luke Clinton (USA) performed well with an 8-under-par, finishing tied for 2nd place (24-under-par 260). Rookie Hayden Springer (USA), who recorded a 'dream 59' on the first day of the tournament, was satisfied with a tie for 7th place (21-under-par 263). Kim Sung-hyun carded 6 birdies and 3 bogeys for a 3-under-par 68, finishing tied for 34th place (12-under-par 272) to conclude the tournament.
