Former President Moon introduced the book by saying, "This book tells the story of a veterinarian who runs a small animal hospital in a provincial city, sharing the 24 hours of an animal hospital." He explained, "Jjongsuni is the name of a dog who served as the guardian of the animal hospital for over 10 years, ever since the author opened the clinic." He continued, "The author wrote this book while reminiscing about the time spent with Jjongsuni, who has now crossed the rainbow bridge, out of longing for her." He confessed, "While reading this book, I realized there was much I didn't know about companion animals, which made me reflect on myself."

In this post, former President Moon also shared his own experiences raising pets, including Maru, Tori, Jjingjjingi, Leo, Dabongi, and even Gomi and Songgangi, who are now at Gwangju Uchi Zoo. He concluded by saying, "If you want to learn more about companion animals, or if you are considering adopting one, I highly recommend reading this book."
