YouTube 'Caracula Media' Channel Transcript Released

Amid claims by professional basketball player Heo Ung's ex-girlfriend that she was forced to undergo an abortion, a phone call recording containing completely contradictory content was released on YouTube.

On the 5th, the YouTube channel 'Caracula Media' released a video interviewing acquaintances of Heo Ung's ex-girlfriend, Ms. A. Caracula introduced Mr. B as "someone who was a close friend of Ms. A for a long time but grew apart due to certain reasons." Mr. B, who worked as a teaching assistant while Ms. A was attending graduate school and was close to her, disclosed a recording of a phone call with Ms. A.

Mr. B claimed that Ms. A worked part-time at a bar in Gangnam during her time at a junior college. He also revealed, "There were several abortions in the past as well."

The recording was said to be a conversation between Ms. A and Mr. B the day before Ms. A underwent her second abortion while dating Heo Ung. When Mr. B asked, "Have you decided to have the abortion?" Ms. A replied, "Yes, I have to. I just had a fight with (Heo Ung) earlier." When asked, "What did (Heo Ung) say?" Ms. A answered, "He said not to go to the hospital." When Mr. B asked again, "Did he just say to have another baby?" Ms. A said, "Yes. That’s why I got more annoyed and just came here," adding, "Have I only had one or two abortions? I’m getting used to it, right?"

Mr. B claimed, "Ms. A had abortions even before meeting Heo Ung," and said, "As far as I know, there were four times." Because of this, she was sometimes called the 'Magic Uterus.'

Earlier, Ms. A's side stated, "Claims that she worked at entertainment establishments or that there were two abortions are all groundless. As previously announced, we will respond legally in due course."

Heo Ung filed a complaint last month at the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul against Ms. A for attempted extortion, threats, and violations of the Stalking Punishment Act. He claims that after their breakup at the end of 2021, she threatened to expose his private life for three years and demanded 300 million won. Heo Ung is the son of Heo Jae, former head coach of the South Korean men's national basketball team known as the 'Basketball President,' and is currently an active player leading his team, Busan KCC, to the top in the 2023?2024 professional basketball championship finals.
