A man in his 40s who wrote mocking posts about the victims of the wrong-way driving accident near Seoul City Hall Station has been booked by the police.
On the 5th, the Namdaemun Police Station in Seoul announced that they have booked a man in his 40s, Mr. A, on charges of defamation of the deceased for writing posts criticizing the bank employees who died in the wrong-way driving accident at City Hall Station.
Mr. A is suspected of leaving a note criticizing the victims at the memorial site near the accident scene that morning.
The police reportedly tracked Mr. A’s movements through CCTV footage and identified him before booking him.
