Providing Exercise Classes Through Healthcare Specialist Company Infrastructure
Promoting Dream Start Specialized Project 'Exercise and Nutrition Program!'
Gangnam-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Jo Seong-myeong) announced on the 5th that it has signed a business agreement with Bodyfriend (CEOs Ji Seong-gyu and Kim Heung-seok) to jointly promote the public-private partnership (ESG) specialized project “Hanbang-e Ssuksuk!-Exercise and Nutrition Program” for Dream Start children.
Bodyfriend, a healthcare specialized company, will support the growth and development of children from vulnerable groups by utilizing the health management experts and infrastructure owned by the company through this agreement. Thirty children and their guardians will be invited to Bodyfriend’s headquarters to participate in exercise and nutrition programs, caregiver health lectures, and massage experiences.
The exercise program is designed to improve children’s overall physical coordination and balance by using actual play sports equipment to enhance full-body strength, agility, and quickness.
The “Hanbang-e Ssuksuk!” project, which Gangnam-gu has been promoting for three years this year, provides one-on-one customized traditional Korean medicine treatment, herbal prescriptions, and nutrition and exercise programs to children who need treatment and counseling due to pediatric obesity, underweight, short stature, or delayed learning development.
District Mayor Jo Seong-myeong stated, “We have been able to activate programs that help vulnerable children grow up healthily by collaborating with companies leading social contribution and ESG projects. We will continue to encourage the participation of various private companies to provide practical support to vulnerable groups.”
